The New Annual Fund
We are excited to announce the details of the new Annual Fund:
The One Fund
One Mission, One Vision, One Family, One Goal
The One Fund was created in order to give our school families a simple and direct way to support our school. It was created to help eliminate the need for several fundraisers during the year. Families will receive a letter at the beginning of every September stating our goals for the year. Funds raised from donations will go to cover operational costs and goals, as well as classroom needs, special events, the arts, and other aspects of student life such as field trips. In order for us to be able to offer this one simple fundraiser for the year, Every family needs to participate to the best of their ability as we must meet our goal.
One Fund - One Donation - One Common Goal - One Family
Participation in the ONE Fund is vital to our school on so many levels:
- It allows every student to be able to participate in all on-campus special events at no additional charge.
- It eliminates the need for additional fundraisers throughout the year.
- It shows support for the school’s leadership, our mission and our desire for the best educational experience possible for our children.
- Having to raise tuition to cover the actual costs of operating our school, makes the opportunity of a good education out of reach for many families which hurts the community.
- It demonstrates to the communities that we serve that our school is strong, united and worthy of their financial support as well.
- It enables us to continue to offer financial assistance to qualified students.
- It enables us to continue to be a leader in education by having the ability to expand our programs and offer other opportunities for our children to enrich their learning experience through a variety of programs.
Our Goal for the 2009-2010 school year is $100,000. In order to be able to offer all the benefits of the ONE Fund this goal has to be met.

One Mission...
Our Mission is to provide, for the students of Kerr-Vance Academy, an intensive liberal arts, college preparatory program in an atmosphere where ethical values are stressed and to instill concern in each student for the welfare of his community, country, and world.
One Vision…
Our Vision is that every student of Kerr-Vance Academy is able to reach his full potential both academically and athletically and be instilled with the core values of:
intellectual excellence
good character
intellectual curiosity
physical development
creativity
social and moral values
One Family …
When you step on campus you become a part of our ONE big school family. Our KVA family is special and unique. Our individual families come from seven different counties yet the bonds we have as a school family are strong. Each family brings something special and unique to KVA. Each family has the ability to make a difference in our school through financial donations and volunteering.When we come together as ONE we make a difference in the lives of our students as well as those to come. When we come together as ONE we can accomplish and surpass any goal or challenge!
One Goal...
Our common goal is to raise funds so that we can continue to offer:
- Our children exceptional academic programs taught by caring ,qualified staff and teachers
- Our teachers the neccessary tools they need to help our children discover and develope their talents and abilities, as well as,the ability to continue to expand and enhance their programs
- Our parents an opportunity to give their children an exceptional education at an affordable price.
