Congratulations to Patrick Miracle (Class of 2010) for the excellent job that he did in the play, "Rumors", at Vance Granville Community College. Patrick played the role of Glenn Cooper. Patrick attends VGCC and has been accepted in the fall at ECU. Keep up the good work.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Lisa Petty(Class of 1982), Laura Petty Hubbard(Class of 1981)and step-daughter,Lisa Tharrington Bolton(Class of 1981) whose mother, Ann Petty Tharrington, died on Friday, February 24th. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb.29th at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Henderson. Dr. Lark will be in charge of the service. The family will meet guests after the service. Kerr-Vance Academy grad, Brandy Rivers, has done very well on the Hollywood scene. She has worked as an assistant to the executive producer on several Jerry Bruckheimer shows. They include: "CSI", "CSI:New York", "CSI:Miami", and other productions. Brandy is also an executive producer of the movie "Hourglass". Brandy says she learned much about television from staying on set and working sometimes 100 hours per week. Her passion is working behind the camera, not acting. Kerr-Vance Academy is very proud of Brandy and her many accomplishments. We Congratulate her! Brandy was a student and is a graduate of KVA (Class of 1997). [...]
