Changes to the 2009-2010 School Calendar (Effective 2-10-2010)
As a result of the recent inclement weather, KVA was forced to cancel three days of school. One snow day was built into the school calendar. We need to make up two of the days.
March 17th and April 1st will now be full days of school. (They were originally scheduled as half-days.) This will give us a total of an extra six hours of school. This will make up one day. The second day will be made up by moving May Day to Saturday, May 1, 2010. Friday, April 30th will now be a regular school day.
We are reserving the potential June make-up days for any future weather issues we may have this winter.
