Serving children 18-months old to age 4, our Early Learning Center is the only fully accredited center of its kind in the region. Our college-prep mission begins with our youngest learners, providing opportunities to grow and explore, as they begin early literacy and go to music, art, PE and Spanish beginning in the 3-year old room.

The Lower School houses Kindergarten through Grade 6. These years are so important as we guide them from learning to read, to reading to learn. Using curriculum, assessments, and instructional tools with a foundation in celebrating individual growth, our students establish a firm foundation and a love of school.

Our Upper School is the perfect blend of small class sizes and endless opportunities. Intentionally small, our students get access to and feedback from their teachers. However, our US students enjoy a great deal of autonomy as they design their educational journey, choosing from a full slate of Honors and AP courses, and opportunity to dual-enroll in courses at Vance-Granville Community College. By the time our students complete their journey at KVA, they are fully prepared for college and beyond.
