Enrichment Programs 

Kerr-Vance Academy strives to foster relentless curiosity and creativity through its enrichment curriculum.

At KVA, we believe in the development of the whole child. This includes fostering relentless curiosity and inspired curiosity. All students Kindergarten through Grade 6 (and even our youngest students in the 3yo and 4yo rooms) have the opportunity to explore and express this curiosity and curiosity through class such as art, music, PE, library, and Spanish each week throughout the school year.

These programs spark students’ creativity, focus, and observation, instrumental in building confidence, perseverance, collaboration, and communication skills. 

  • Pre-K through 6th Grade students attend art and music classes each week.

  • Middle school students take art on a rotating quarterly schedule.

  • Upper school students may take Art 1 and 2 as electives.

  • Music students perform in the annual Grandparent’s Day and May Day programs at KVA.

  • At Kerr-Vance Academy, students bring their imagination to life through a vibrant visual arts program that nurtures self-expression and artistic skill—empowering them to explore, create, and shine.

  • At Kerr-Vance Academy, students find their voice through a dynamic music program that cultivates creativity, confidence, and collaboration—empowering them to perform, connect through music, and inspire.

  • At Kerr-Vance Academy, students build strength, confidence, and teamwork through an engaging physical education program—empowering them to move with purpose, lead with integrity, and thrive both on and off the field.

  • At Kerr-Vance Academy, students discover the power of stories and research through a rich library program—empowering them to read intently, think critically, and explore the world beyond the page.

  • At Kerr-Vance Academy, students explore the Spanish language and the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world—building communication skills, cultural appreciation, and a broader perspective on the global community.
