KVA Early Learning Center is Fully Accredited

Kerr-Vance Academy is proud to announce that its Early Learning Center (ELC), serving children ages 18 months through four years, has officially earned full accreditation through Cognia, an internationally recognized education accrediting body. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the school and the surrounding region.

While Kerr-Vance Academy’s K-12 program has maintained accreditation for over 50 years, this new distinction for the ELC sets a bold precedent: KVA is now home to the only fully accredited Early Learning Center in the area.

This accomplishment reflects our deep commitment to educational excellence and holistic growth from the very beginning of a child’s development. We’re proud to provide families with an exceptional foundation of learning that supports every stage of their journey.

Education-First Early Learning

The Early Learning Center is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and is available year-round.

Unlike daycare, our education-first approach is designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond through structured and kindergarten-ready programs. We help young learners build confidence, curiosity, and essential early academic skills.

A typical day for your child will include:

Spanish, Music, Art and/or Library instruction and activities from KVA Faculty.
Lessons in colors, shapes, calendar principles, letters and numbers.
A well balanced lunch.
Nap time.
Playtime with age appropriate toys in the classroom, and on the fenced-in playground accessible from their classroom. Children also have access to the gymnasium in colder months and when weather prohibits outdoor activities.

K1 Class: Tuition is $9,000 per year (12 monthly payments at $750)

K2 Class: Tuition is $8,700 per year (12 monthly payments at $725)

K3 Class: Tuition is $8,400 per year (12 monthly payments at $700)

K4 Class: Tuition is $8,100 per year (12 monthly payments of $675)
