KVA is affiliated with the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools (NCAIS). This organization is comprised of the top 10% of independent schools in the state, providing support, professional development, and critical relationships across the state.

Is KVA Accredited?

KVA is accredited by Cognia, an internationally recognized accrediting body, and has been for over 50 years. In 2025, the Early Learning Center earned their own separate accreditation, becoming the only accredited site in the region. Click here to read the full press release.

What is the student-to-teacher ratio at KVA?

At Kerr-Vance Academy, we are intentionally small, maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure personalized attention and support for every student, enhancing both academic success and individual growth. What ages & Grade Levels Does KVA Serve?

How do I apply and get my child enrolled?

Our application process is easy. In fact, to get started, all we need you to do is complete this simple form and we will accompany you from there.
